Finding Your Personal Path To the Power of Love

DREAM BIG

“People Have the Power” (6:58)

In the days ahead Imagine Peace and Plenty will invite you to plug in to practical action steps we can all take to move our planet toward climate stabilization.

But to begin, or expand, your personal activism please explore the websites of each of the organizations referenced above.  Choose the one(s) that call your heart to action. Invest your talent, time and treasure in implementing their activist agendas. Plug into your deepest yearnings to be a conduit for transformative energy and let your light shine!

Next up on your “Imagine Peace and Plenty” tour will be our “Rainforest Revival” section. But before we head off to the Amazon, let’s pause for a few minutes to take in some good news about how activists are restoring ecosystems, and thereby working to bring our climate back into balance. The following video can offer us all hope and inspiration.

Five Epic Earth Healing Projects (12:43)

Were you inspired by that video?! How do you feel about being asked to consider balancing your “Carbon Footprint” with your “Carbon Handprint”? As you contemplate that question, please go now to the Wren Website – mentioned in the video – and offer the level of support that feels right to you.

Effective Climate Action will necessarily involve active support for the CO2 reduction efforts of groups like those whose work we have presented to you already. Additionally though, our activism is necessary on behalf of organizations that offer sustainable solutions to our energy needs here in the USA, like the “Union of Concerned Scientists”, as well as on behalf of groups that deliver practical support for environmentally responsible micro projects in developing countries, like the work of “Plenty” in Belize.

And it will also require addressing the related issue of Rainforest preservation in tandem with support for the rights of indigenous peoples – the next stop on our Imagine Peace and Plenty tour.

At Imagine Peace and Plenty we have chosen to give an added boost to one group in particularThe Pachamama Alliance, a unique collaboration between indigenous people of the Sacred Headwaters region of the Amazon Rainforest and activists in the industrialized North. As you explore the mission and work of the Pachamama Alliance, in the next section of Imagine Peace and Plenty, I trust your appreciation of how climate justice, rainforest protection and co-equal collaboration with forest based indigenous communities can all be woven together into a seamless fabric that will lead us toward climate stabilization and, simultaneously, broader arenas of planetary healing.

To explore the mission and work of the Pachamama Alliance, as well as the stories of other like minded Rainforest activism organizations, navigate now to the Rainforest Revival section of Imagine Peace and Plenty.  Then, once you have landed there, link to the “Why The Rainforest” panel to continue your Imagine Peace and Plenty guided tour.
